Through the intense financial ramifications of vehicle neglect, I’ve acquired more knowledge about the general mechanical structure and maintenance required to promote the longevity of a car. As a young adult, having owned two cars before, I now find it both financially crucial, and personally rewarding, to maintain and care for my daily driver. The destruction of my first two vehicles acted as lessons needing to be learned. I salute them for their service. The following is a written account of my car’s life, including maintenance, care, and major events. This is a new chapter in my newfound sense of responsibility.

May 31 2024 traded in my 2014 Volkswagen Golf TDI for a 2018 Subaru crosstreck. Here is a screenshot of the astrology chart I took just moments after signing the sales agreement. For that reason, I will consider it the election chart for me owning the car.
